Kelly Pendery

Kelly is a U.S.-based photographer, born and raised in the Midwest. Currently she is pursuing a BFA in Photography at Savannah College of Art and Design and aims to continue her education with an MFA.

Her passion for art began at a local Children's Art Academy, experimenting with sculpture and drawing. In high school, she expanded her skills in drawing, painting, and sculpture, often blending these mediums in her work. Though encouraged to explore photography, it wasn’t until her AP Art course that she recognized its potential as a creative outlet. Photography quickly became a way to craft three-dimensional compositions within a two-dimensional frame in a way that is coherent to her. After starting her first photography class at SCAD, she realized it was her true creative path and the career she was meant to pursue.
