Who Am I?

Kelly Pendery is a photographer whose relationship with the medium developed gradually, shaped by years of exploring art before she found her creative language through photography.

Raised with a strong foundation in the visual arts, Kelly spent much of her early life working in drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media, experimenting with form and space long before seriously picking up a camera.

Through photography, she found a sense of clarity and cohesion that felt instinctive—allowing her to observe the world closely, preserve moments as she experiences them, and express her emotions on a broader scale.

Kelly hopes that viewers of her work will slow down, look closely, and feel a sense of familiarity or reflection, experiencing the same quiet appreciation she finds in the act of photographing.
